22 April 2008 – (Akobo County, Jonglei) – Akobo County Commissioner Doyak Chol said the handing over of Wanding payam to Nassir County has been delayed because there is no money to organize a handing-over ceremony.
Mr. Chol said Akobo County authorities will hand over the payam to Nassir after the census, but only once they obtain funding for the ceremony.
Traditional leaders from Akobo and Nassir counties agreed last month during a peace conference to transfer administrative control of Wanding payam to Nassir County.
A long-standing dispute over the ownership of the payam was seen as the main cause of clashes between the Nuer clans living in the two counties.

Good information Mr Khor Deng Khor. Yes, it was already known that Doyak could have done and make a reconcilation between the two clans. Wading is a Nasir district in which all us knew it very well. It was left empity becuase of war between the two clans as there should be no body interested to leave in a clash zone.
I never heard any Lou who could claim Wading as his/her home village otherwise we live there when we have a relatives in wading because we are mixed up to the maximum.
I salute Doyak Chuol for his hard work to keep peace in between these clans.

Those of Anyuak are not happy seeing Nuer giving Wanding to other Nuer clan because they keep dreaming that Greater Akobo, Jikou, Itang, Tiergol and all villages along the Sobat/Baro river from Gambella to Nasir will be given back to them (Anyuak)one day.

If I were a commissioner of Akobo, I will not hand over Wanding to the people of Nasir,unless Jikany stop looting lou cattle and apology for the war they were started against Lou Nuer.
Keeping Wanding under the authorities of Lou should be punishment of Jikany for their being misbehaviour with Lou.

All these points are keeping Nuer to staying separately with differents hearts ,there is solutions there in Goss in Juba and everyone known where he/ she can be living whether from Nassir or Akobo. Nassirian who want to living in Akobo has allowed to go there or Akobian who need to come staying in Nasir, only Goss will take care for her or him anyone free for where is possible for him or her. Land is not belong to Lou or Jikany is belong to Goss also Wanding is not belong Anyuak or Nuer is belong to Goss let us point these idea out in our mind.I can asking all of you did anyone created the Land or is God created it to us?if your aswer is God but God is staying where we do not know but voices of united working together with Government if there is no government like our past stayed, it gotten us seriously lives because there is no what can united us.
why our politis deal with us, while we are now wises enough why we are backing while World is running forward to forming what is calling loving brothers or sisters.
Anyuak are also created with us in SouthSudan they are not came from Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia they are the best friends of Nuer Shiluk, Dinka and other tribes in SouthSudan if they complains to need leader there will be time for them to have leader.
Hard works, clear vision and loving each other are things that God gives to you to ruling your people,thanks you.
